The Cabernet Sauvignon fruit for this wine is derived from Knights Valley located in Sonoma County East
of Healdsburg. Knights Valley is a notoriously warm climate to grow Cabernet Sauvignon and 2007 was
no different. Scents of dark red fruits and licorice greet your nose and continue onto the palate
where black and white pepper are added. A long finish and sturdy, yet elegant tannins allow for early
drinking and the ability to age for 8-10 years or more.
